Living Color

There are these few glorious moments, these Irish chains on the mountainside, these days that demand my full attention.  The colors are at once brilliant and evanescent, and the leaves whisper a last good-bye before the quiet sleep of winter.

The dawn of each new day and the spin of the seasons remind me of His long ago promise.  The Father spoke these words to Noah, who had watched the world churn with righteous wrath:  “As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.”

Even in these colors, this shortening of days, there is a covenant kept.

These are just wonderful pictures, our Julie! You are really using your camera well, adjusting settings, etc. We’re so happy for you, capturing God’s so wonderful creation – the autumn season. I miss autumn without our children, and our children’s children :), raking leaves and jumping in them, enjoying the beautiful colors together, walking in the commons, decorating our porches with pumpkins and mums together. I can picture it and go back in a heartbeat! This is a wonderful Tracing Grace – we love you. Mom and Dad
