Journaling Revisited

As I look back on my first journal, it seems to me that the entries join to form a story of grace.  It is good to be reminded.  My Father values remembrance.  He commanded the gathering of river stones–benchmarks of provision and faithfulness.  Here is His faithfulness in the face of the littlest, recorded in June 2006:

“So this is our baby! And let me say that she does love being the baby. One of these days, we’ll cure her from “crown princess syndrome,” but for now, we’re just enjoying the process of watching her become her own little person. She loves to dance and to play with dolls and her favorite foods are yogurt, blueberries and chocolate. (She has some Scheffler in her, I think!)”
